I was accepted into Marist by Early Admissions Application. I would recommend students maintain good grades throughout High School and work hard on their College Essay. The more creative and memorable your essay, the better! Make sure it says something substantial about YOU as a person.

To get into this school I would recommend having the focus of your essay not be entirely on school work. Students applying should show what they do when they are not at their high school. Grades and SATs will show up on your transcript so don't have your entire essay be about that. Make it so the admissions counselor can see you as a person and not a piece of paper.

I had excellent ACT scores (top 98%ile) and an unweighted GPA of 93. I also did tons of community service and was involved in many activities in high school. I recommend you do the same and visit the college often and harass the admissions staff until they know you well.
